The volume, developed by Francesco Bonami in reference to the historical exhibition by Edward Steichen, The Family of Man, paints a multifaceted picture of humanity at the beginning of the 21st century.

The original photography and text installation was opened in 1955 at the Museum of Modern Art in New York and subsequently toured over 150 museums worldwide for seven years. In the spirit of Steichen's radical concept, Me, Family presents works by contemporary artists that explore, across media and genres, how humanity deals with its diverse, coexisting stories and the problems it faces today.

The book showcases a reality that is beautiful, dramatic, and intoxicating, with depictions of contemporary art, social networks, fashion, information technologies, advertising, sound, music, and performances. With texts by Roland Barthes, Francesco Bonami, Edward Steichen, and others.
