This remarkable project was an initiative by four collectors from Vienna, who organised their own Franz West exhibition in a former gallery in the centre of Vienna from their collections in a very personal way. With over 400 works from all groups of the artist's oeuvre, the most comprehensive solo exhibition of the artist ever was created.

The exhibition, which was originally intended only for a private setting, had to be made accessible to the public due to numerous media reports, the great interest of all Franz West fans, and the curiosity of passers-by. Direct access to the works was allowed and encouraged, in contrast to museums. All sofas, couches, and chairs could be used. The adaptives could be used under supervision.
